The 2025 GPPSD Employee Wellness Professional Learning Day will take place on Friday, February 28th. Registration will open Friday, January 31st at 8:30a.m. and will close Tuesday, February 11th at midnight. Requirements:
All Staff are required to attend the Morning Gathering at the Composite High School from 8:15-9:30, this will automatically be added to your schedule.
All Staff must register for and attend two breakout sessions between 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. You have the option of registering for a third session or using any one of the session times for a lunch break. *Please only register for sessions you will attend as space in each session is limited*

All sessions have limited capacities and registration is first come, first served. You are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Once a session is full, you will have the option to be added to a waitlist but must still register for 2 sessions.
Morning Gathering - All Staff - Grande Prairie Composite High School We will begin the day with all staff gathering at the Grande Prairie Composite High School for breakfast, a welcome address from the Superintendent, and social wellness activities.
Times: 7:15 - Doors to the school will open for anyone who would like to come early for coffee and socializing. 7:45-8:30 - Breakfast will be served All employees must be in the Composite High School by 8:15 a.m. 8:30-8:45 - Welcome Address from Superintendent 8:50-9:20 - Social Wellness Activities: Trivia in the gym, walk in the park, wellness booths in the gathering area
Due to our large number of employees, traffic and parking at the Composite High School will be congested that morning. Please allow extra time to accommodate for this.
From 9:30-10:00 employees will travel/transition to pre-registered Breakout Session 1.
Breakout sessions will run from 10:00-3:30 at various locations throughout the community.
